Big Belly Race

If the baby shower will be coed, have the men blow up balloons as big as they can without popping them. Then, have the men sit in chairs, place the balloons under their shirts, and see who can bend over to tie their shoes the fastest. Everyone will be in stitches!

Diaper Race

This game is wonderful for coed baby showers. You would need a table where two life size dolls would be placed along with a diaper, safety pins, and a small container of baby powder.

Each person will race against another person in powdering and diapering the "baby". The one that finishes first is the winner. Just as with the items on the tray, the diapers, pins, and baby powder would be given to the couple to use after the birth of the baby.

Clay Baby

This game is a great baby shower game icebreaker. You would hand each guest a piece of clay, allowing five minutes for the creation of a clay baby. When everyone is finished, have the guests clap for their favorite “baby.” The guest with the loudest applause wins.

Poopy Diaper Baby Shower Game

This baby shower game is different from the Diaper Door game in that you will take about six disposable or cloth diapers and choose six different candy bars. Crush the candy bars up inside the diapers.

Then, each guest will be given a piece of paper that has a list of the diapers, numbered on the left side. Their job is to identify the correct candy bar and mark it accordingly on the paper. The guests would pick up diaper number one and begin passing it around the group.

As each guest smells the diaper, he or she needs to write down number “one” next to the candy bar on the sheet of paper he or she believes it is. While you can use a number of candy bar types, good choices include Milky Way, Three Musketeers, Snickers, Butterfinger, Hershey’s, and so on.

Baby Bottle Drink Contest

This icebreaker game is great and good for tons of laughs. Perfect for a coed baby shower, you will fill a few baby bottles with about four ounces each of grape or cherry juice. Set the timer for one minute and see which person can drink the most.

Two to Tango

You need about three couples doing this at the same time. Set up a table with three baby-changing stations and three life size dolls. This can be done as a coed game or all-women shower. Have one of the people stand on the left and to the right of that person, the second person would stand.

Then, have the two people interlock, both right and left arms so they cannot be used. The goal of this game is to see which couple can diaper and dress the baby the fastest, using the left hand of one person and the right hand of the other person.

Toilet Paper Diaper

For coed baby showers, this is a great game. You will need two couples competing against each other with one roll of toilet paper. Set the timer for two minutes and in that time, they have to “build” a diaper on their partner, making it as neat and realistic as possible. The couple that finishes first and has a “diaper” that stays up wins.
